Goodbye Spork

It’s a sad day when one of your dear friends IMs you to say they are closing down their shop. I have known GM for nearly 3 years now, after he first wandered into my little store of only 5 designs in Plush Kappa. Who would have know then, that he and his wife Barb would become some of my closest friends in SL.

Over the years I have watched GM create his designs with loving care and attention to detail, continually improving his skills so he could bring us beautiful wearable fashions.  Spork has grown to become one of the nicest women’s clothing boutiques in SL.

Farewell to our dear friends at Spork; GM, Freedom, & Barbara. Everyone at Malt thanks you for the past 2.5 years of stunning fashion and great friendship. Wishing you all the very best with your future SL projects.

Official Statement from Spork Management:

It is not an easy decision, and we’ve given it much thought.  Spork will be closing it’s doors on Feb 15, 2010.  We’ve been open for 2.5 years but the time has come to close up and move on to other projects.  Both Barbara and I want to thank all our loyal customers. We’ve made some great friends as a result of our little shop.
